On air

DadFM

4.20 on your dial. Dad Modulation. We're not going anywhere.

A radio station that only plays your music, hosted by a whole cast of DJs who've had a few, run by an engine called R.A.D.I.O.. No algorithm, no ads, no subscription — just your library, introduced fresh, every song, like it means something. Same cast can also sit down and do a whole Podcast episode on a topic you give them, whenever you want.

What you just tuned into

A radio station of one library — yours

DadFM plays whatever's actually on your phone, in whatever order you left it, and talks between songs like a real overnight DJ would — a little too honest, mostly harmless. Pick a DJ, or let the cast rotate — either way, it's the station, the voice, the whole bit.

What it actually does

The features, plainly

01

A fresh line, every song

No pre-recorded drops. Every intro is written new, for that song, right before it plays.

02

Pick your DJ, or don't

Choose a personality in Settings, or leave it on the default — either way, it's consistent, not random.

03

Family cameos, occasionally

Dad and R.A.D.I.O. show up on their own schedule, not yours — solo lines, or a quick back-and-forth between them.

04

It'll get to know you, a little

An optional nickname and general area, used sparingly — never invented, never more precise than you gave it.

05

Or sit them down for a whole episode

Pick a topic, pick who's in the room — any mix of the cast, solo or all at once — and optionally steer the scene ("Dad should bring up his fishing trip"). No music, just talk, up to 20 minutes, saved so you can listen again or hand it off.

This started as one dad trying to make his own music library feel like a radio station again — something that talks back, remembers what actually gets played, and doesn't need a subscription to do it.
